Commander Abdal Aziz Adam Al-Hilu Sworn In as Vice President of Sudan’s Presidential Council

Today, Saturday, August 30, 2025, Commander Abdal Aziz Adam Al-Hilu was officially sworn in as Vice President of the Presidential Council of the Republic of Sudan. The ceremony took place in Nyala, the capital of South Darfur, and was attended by President of the Presidential Council Lieutenant General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo and Chief of Justice Ramadan Ibrahim Shamaila.
The appointment of Al-Hilu as Vice President represents a key step in consolidating the Transitional Peace Government and advancing Sudan’s goals of inclusive governance, national reconciliation, and sustainable peace.
