The Rapid Support Forces confirmed that the arrival of its delegation to Geneva came based on their moral commitment to the Sudanese people, and not to achieve any political gains.
It added in a press statement, which Blue News reviewed; “In steadfast alignment with our previously stated positions and our unwavering commitment to providing humanitarian aid to those in need within territories under the control of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), we hereby reaffirm our readiness to facilitate the continued passage of aid convoys through the Daba crossing. The arrival of our delegation in Geneva is driven solely by our ethical duty to the people of Sudan, free from any pursuit of political gain”.
