President Dagalo Holds Talks with UK Envoy on Sudan’s Peace and Stability

President of the Presidential Council, His Excellency Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, held a telephone conversation today with the United Kingdom’s Special Envoy to Sudan, Mr. Richard Crowder, focusing on the latest political and humanitarian developments in the country.
President Dagalo praised the UK’s longstanding support to the Sudanese people, highlighting its vital role in providing humanitarian assistance, protecting civilians, and backing efforts to end the ongoing conflict. He also outlined the objectives behind the formation of the Peace Government, emphasizing its vision to end wars, achieve a comprehensive and just peace, and alleviate the suffering of millions affected by the crisis.
For his part, Mr. Crowder reaffirmed the UK’s commitment to stand with the Sudanese people. He stressed London’s determination to strengthen humanitarian access, enhance civilian protection, and support initiatives aimed at ending the war and building lasting peace and stability in Sudan.
